Bakhtiyor Khodjayev (“Bak”) is a nationally certified medical interpreter, accredited legal interpreter, interpreter trainer, and founder of Baklingual Solutions, a language services company based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. He brings over 10 years of experience delivering high-quality interpretation, translation, and interpreter training services across the United States and Canada. Prior to entering the language industry, Bak spent 10 years as a bilingual project manager and management consultant, where he developed expertise in leadership, training, and performance improvement.

Bak holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Languages. He is fluent in English, Russian, Uzbek, and Turkish, with conversational German. He holds national certification through NBCMI and has provided language services for major institutions, including Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. state courts, hospitals, social and government agencies, 911 emergency services, and other community settings.

As an interpreter trainer and coach, Bak has trained 300+ interpreters from six continents through his industry-recognized 40-hour interpreter training programs. His training programs are designed to meet NBCMI and CCHI professional standards and are known for their practical, real-world focus.
